OK, so a whirlwind of changes occurred on Monday- no Visa's and no way to get them by Wed at 7am, when we were supposed to take out of Chatt....(unless we wanted to pay for someone to drive them from Washington DC to us for $1600- NOT)
STRESSED??? Understatement!! So I was in a fast and furious frenzy to gather all the important paperwork, passports, and money order to get shipped out to DC on Monday. The visas were approved today, and should arrive back to us on Wednesday morning by 10am . We were able to change our flights to Thursday, same ones... And the only thing we will miss out on is an orientation and Chinese acrobatic show in Beijing. :(
But, we saved $300 on the flights, a hotel night, and got to spend one more day/night with our kids- so it's all GOOD!
