OK, so all bags packed and ready to go. The extra day I must say was a blessing!! Was able to do alot of last minute things and pack wisely. Here is our itinerary, of course subject to change. Thanks for everyones prayers, calls, and words of Encouragements. (And Pastor Greg, you knew it was Thursday ;) Also please pray for my Aunt Judy, my parents, Tommy/Stephanie, The Richardsons, and The Ricketts while they help take care of our 3 children while we are gone.
January 14- Fly from Chattanooga at 7:15AM, to Atlanta. Leave Atlanta at 11:20AM to Tokyo.
January 15- Arrive in Tokyo at 3:55PM, Board a plane to Beijing at 7:30 and arrive in Beijing at 11PM- Staying at the Chang'an Grand Hotel.
January 16- Visit Great Wall and Cloisonne Factory
January 17- Visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Hutong Tour. Evening flight to Shanghai at 7PM-9:15PM. Stay at the New World Mayfair Hotel.
January 18- Go to Shanghai Civil Affairs for "GOTCHA DAY"- where we will receive Anna
January 19- Go back to Civil Affairs to register adoption and notarization.
January 20- Visit Pudong Riverview Blvd, Oriental Pearl Tower and Huangpu River Cruise
January 21-Visit Old Shanghai
January 22- Visit Shanghai Zoo, receive Anna's passport in afternoon. Fly to Guangzhou at 4:30PM-6:30
January 23- Medical exam for Anna in the morning
January 24- Meeting to prepare for the consulate documents at 10AM
January 25- FREE
January 26- Visa Appointment
January 27- Go to the consulate to take the oath at 2:15PM
January 28- Go to the consulate to pick up Visa at 2:15PM
January 29- Flight at 9PM to Los Angeles, arriving at 5:50PM. Leave Los Angeles at 11:55PM
January 30- Arrive in Atlanta at 7AM, and back to Chattanooga at 10:45!!!!!

Sooo excited for you guys! Hope your travels are stress-free and you get to see lots of things in China. We will be praying for you guys over the next 2 weeks (and beyond). Looking forward to frequent updates and pictures of sweet Anna!
Hi, we live in Dalton and found your blog on Bethany's forum. We adopted Olivia in 2005. Our friends who adopted with us at that time, the Wollers, live in Michigan and will be in China again with you adopting Abby. They will be in Beijing at the same time and then again in Guangzhou with you. They will already have their daughter when you get to Beijing. Tell them Hi for us and maybe the next time they visit us they can visit you during the same trip! We will be following your journey and would love to meet you all when you return home to Chattanooga. We are there almost every weekend. Have a great trip and take tons of pictures - you will cherish them all.
