Well, we have a tenative consulate appointment for January 27th at the embassy, hoping for the "big news" this week that we will travel in about 2 weeks. Our paperwork from Memphis sent on December 12th- is somehow still in transit. My parents are also leaving for Hawaii Jan 16th for 8 days, so going to be interesting for sure. I am posting this post because many who have recently traveled to China in Nov and Dec, say that blogger does not work due to the "great firewall", yet this is a workaround. Will see if it works....
